About Me

The Wedding Hair Specialist – Oxfordshire Based Wedding Hair.

I first fell in love with doing bridal and occasion hair whilst doing my 3 year apprenticeship at Brothers hair salon in Oxford where I began my hairdressing journey in 2004. Here I qualified at NVQ level 2.

I remember watching the other experienced stylists doing wedding parties, university balls, occasion hair, editorial work and doing prep for hair shows, I always watch in awe and remember wanting to be as good as them. It turns out I had a natural flair for it, and pursued doing wedding hair and editorial work further as it is what I love and enjoy doing.

I have been on a number of creative hair up and editorial courses at the Aveda institute in London, Goodwell, and attended a GHD hair up and styling work shop, where I have learnt to adapt and work with lots of different hair types.

After working for Brothers for 7 years I decided I needed a new challenge. I then worked at a salon in the centre of Oxford called Matthew Clulee where I completed my level 3 in hairdressing.

Working here I also gained a lot of experience, I was picked to do some editorial work for ‘The only way is Essex’ Billie Faiers, I also took part in Oxford fashion week, and was apart of the creative team where I continued to do lots of brides and occasion hair.

After 4 years I left and decided to retrain and sharpen up my cutting skills and worked for Toni & Guy for 3 years before deciding to leave and go freelance full time.

Bridal hair and hair up is my passion and in my almost 20 years of hairdressing I have gained lots of experience and have worked with some amazing people throughout my career.

I have had the pleasure of doing so many lovely brides and their bridal parties and I cannot wait to do many more in the future.
